Christina Marie DeVaux, lovingly known as Nina was born December 28th, 1983 to her loving parents David and Lynn DeVaux. She was a beauty and their first love blessing on earth. She was followed by her very anticipated Baby Brother Paul and a later blessing with her Baby Brother Dustin.
Their home was filled with love and lots of activities. Christina never knew rest and loved competitive sports playing softball and basketball and was an avid cheerleader from youth football through high school. She was also active in FFA and loved animals as much as people. She kept that love of sports into her adulthood embracing her families love for their Raiders football.
From high school she went right into the beauty industry as she thoroughly enjoyed doing for others and making them beautiful and happy. She graduated from beauty school and had always made her way into the service industry working at the Swiss Chalet in Santa Maria and really found her calling for service endearing her co-workers and customers whom she called friends. She found her home at the Ellery Room and Sage Restaurant and for the past four years She imprinted herself in the hearts of all she came in contact with.
While employed at the Swiss Chalet, she met the love of her life Joseph (Chino) Buelna. They fell madly, deeply in love and were engaged to marry. They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Journei MaeJean Buelna, infant Pixie Journei and RaeAunna. We take comfort knowing Journei is in her Mommy's arms at the foot of the Lord.
Christina LOVED Halloween, the color pink and the retro look especially anchors. She was the anchor of our hearts.
Christina was born to heaven March 5th, 2017 the day she blessed us with her gift of life to infant daughter Pixie Journei.
Christina was preceded in death by daughter Journei MaeJean, she lovingly termed Her Beauty, her Paternal Grandparents Richard and Shirley DeVaux, her Maternal Grandparents Roy and "Nana" Jean Bobbitt, and her Uncles Paul and Steven Bobbitt.
She leaves a wake of love and that of profound loss survived by her Parents David P. DeVaux (Gaby), Lynn M. DeVaux (Jose), her Brothers Paul (Azeneth) and Dustin, her infant daughter Pixie Journei, her 10 year old daughter RaeAunna Buelna, and the love of her life Joseph (Chino) Buelna, She is also survived by her niece Grace DeVaux and loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins and close friends whom she considered Sisters and Brothers.
When I love, I LOVE.
