Christine Renee Nunnelee

December 6, 1950 - July 18, 2021

Christine Renee Nunnelee (nee-Detrick) passed away peacefully July 18, 2021, at the Serenity House in Santa Barbara, California.  She went to be with our Lord after a brief battle with cancer.

Christine was born December 6, 1950, in San Diego California to Cecil and Shirley Detrick and moved to Lompoc in 1965.  Christine graduated Lompoc High and got her AS degree in accounting at Alan Hancock Community College then worked as an accountant for Santa Barbara County schools for 17 years before taking an early retirement and moving to help her family.

Christine was preceded in death by her father Cecil, mother Shirley, older sister Mary Wisensale, younger brother Lance Detrick and one granddaughter.

Christine is survived by her husband Danny Nunnelee, daughter Brandy Rae Woody and her fiancé Brandon Bryner, daughter Suzanne Monet Johnston-Detrick, stepson Jason Franklyn Nunnelee, stepdaughter Gwendolyn Jane Nunnelee, four granddaughters, three great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Christine had a deep love for her family, traveling the USA by motorcycle behind her husband and supporting her husband and his teammates in their softball endeavors traveling across much of the country attending tournaments.

Services to be held at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery pavilion Saturday, August 7th at 9:30 a.m. with a barbeque to follow at Miguelito Park.
