Obituary

The family of Cipriano Solorio, 59, is sad to announce the death of their beloved father, brother, husband, and grandfather. He passed away on February 22nd, surrounded by family and friends at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Cipriano will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, devotion to his family and hardworking nature. He was full of life and always filled a room with laughter and smiles. Adored by his grandchildren, family and friends, Cipriano will be dearly missed.
He was born on September 26, 1957 in Churintzio, Michoacan, Mexico to Everardo Solorio Mendez and Eloisa Garcia Solorio. He moved to Lompoc in 1984 and worked for farming companies in the area, including Shannon Farms where he met his wife, Darren Shannon.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother and sister Osbelia. He is survived by his wife Darren and children: Jamie M Shannon (Michael); Manuel J Solorio (Cali) and Selika B Solorio (Jose). He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Gabee, JR and Sophia, three brothers: Eliseo, David and his youngest brother Abel who was there for him whenever needed, and eight sisters: Rosa, Adela, Josefina, Concepcion, Salud, Maria de Jesus, Carlota and Mariana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many others who loved him.
The family would also like to say a special thank you to Carnahan Therapy, Sansum Clinic and Cottage Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm with a vigil service at 7 pm, Thursday, March 2nd at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 3rd at Queen of Angels Catholic Church and burial will follow services at Lompoc Cemetery. A celebration of life reception will be held after burial services at the Beattie Park Pavilion in Lompoc.
