Claudene Sue Poole passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stepfather Austin Sickles, and siblings Jay, Connie, Terry, Carolyn, and Carl.

Sue was born in Lawton Oklahoma on December 7, 1952, to Claude Edward and Clara Lucille Garrett. The family moved to Lompoc when she was 6 months old, and this became home. She attended local schools, graduating from Lompoc High in the class of 1971. She worked in a variety of roles through the years with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, Vandenberg Federal Credit Union, Mullahey Ford, and finally the Lompoc Unified School District.

Sue leaves behind her husband of 40 years Joe Poole and sisters Charlotte Ward (Dean) of Lompoc and Machehl Lopez of Maricopa Arizona and brothers Clyde and Michael of Minnesota.
