Clemente Chavoya was born March 31, 1953 in Lompoc, California to Luis and Esperanza Chavoya. He died October 2, 2013 at his home in Lompoc.
Clemente worked as a Senior Sanitation Worker for the City of Lompoc for many years. He was also a mechanic. Clemente was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed hunting and camping. He was a family man who loved playing with his grandchildren. He also loved watching westerns on TV including "Gunsmoke".
Clemente is survived by his wife Beatrice, his children Clemente Jr., Justine Tell, Christina Spenser and Antonio Luis Chavoya; 5 grandchildren Brenton Paxton, Jarrod Chavoya, Joey-Ann Spencer, Bodhi Spencer and Kyler Chavoya.
Clemente was one of 10 children. His siblings include Julia Batres, Rosie Jaloma, Ana Aguining, Lupe Valez, Marylou Aguilar, Ysidro, Vince, Rosalio and Louie Chavoya.
Visitation hours will be Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 4 to 8pm followed by a vigil/rosary services that will commence at 6 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at La Purisima Catholic Church 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013 followed by burial at Lompoc Cemetery.
