Consuelo "Connie" Terrones passed away on February 10, 2024. Connie was born in Lompoc California on January 16th, 1926, to Martin Silva Terrones and Atilana Garcia Terrones.  Connie is survived by her four children, Diane Montoya of San Bernardino, Patricia Vejar of Hacienda Heights, Shirley Martinez (Mike) of Lompoc, and Roderick Aguirre of Temple City.   She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, husband Telesford "Ted" Aguirre, four brothers, and three sisters.

Connie was a member of the Mexican Social Organization, and she enjoyed the many activities the club had. Connie worked for many years at Mattel Toy Corporation from where she retired.  During this time, she would always be sure to bring her nieces and nephews the latest toy.  This made Connie very happy because she loved children.  Connie also had a love for baking and who couldn't resist her famous upside-down pineapple cake and banana cream pie made from scratch?  Her other loves were dancing and singing while her records would play.

We would like to extend a special thank you and gratitude to the Lompoc Comprehensive Care Center for all the kindness and care that was given to Connie.  Thank you, Sarah Robles, for being there when we were not able to.

Connie, you are now together with your sisters Belia Delgado, Hortensia Robles, and the rest of your family. Will you be missed? Of course, you will be, especially your elegance.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 11:00 am at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
