Corina Carrie (Green) Alrabadi
A Celebration of Life for Corina C. (Green) Alrabadi, 35, of Lompoc, will be at Noon on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Lompoc Foursquare Church, 125 North C Street.
Corina was born on June 16, 1975 at Vandenberg Air Force Base to Owier James and Jane Christine Green. She is survived by her parents, husband of more than 2 years, Muneer (Kevin) Alrabadi and his family; daughter Savannah Palmer and son Cory Palmer; sister and brother-in-law Kristina and Mike McManigal, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Corina graduated from Lompoc Senior High School in 1993 and attended Allan Hancock College. She was previously married to Jeffrey H. Palmer, the father of her children. She was employed by the City of Lompoc as a Treasury Clerk where she was an active member of the Employee Development Association. She was previously employed by Saturn of Santa Maria, Chumash Casino, AJ Spurs Restaurant, and worked in child care services which allowed her to care for her own children too.
Corina's love of children, family, animals, nature and art brought her joy throughout her short life. She was loved by her children, family, and friends. She was a lovely, sweet young woman, daughter, sister, wife, and mother who will always be remembered as a caring, giving, thoughtful, and creative person that loved to experience the simple fun things in life. She often would explore beaches with her kids and friends, and loved to camp, go fishing with her dad and son, enjoyed taking pictures of her children and nature, and watching the kids excel at sports. In high school she learned to find just the right outfits at thrift shops and this later led to a love of antiqueing and searching for collectibles, and small gifts to brighten someone's life. She also enjoyed trying new recipes for her family and co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, a savings account has been established at Santa Barbara Bank and Trust for the Savannah and Cory Palmer College Fund. Donations may be made at any branch of the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust.
"She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels by the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees; And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting; And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry about me."
