Craig Robert McNamee "Mac", 49, passed away peacefully after an almost four-year battle with cancer on September 5, 2017 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.

He was born on February 9, 1968 in Lompoc, California to Thomas and Darlene McNamee. Craig grew up in Lompoc, California and graduated from Lompoc High School. After high school, he began working for the United States Postal Service where he worked about thirty years. He really enjoyed his fellow coworkers and was thankful for all that they did for him and his family.

Craig married Lorna Wolfe in October of 1993 at the Cliffs in Shell Beach, California. They were happily married for 23 years and the parents to their three wonderful children, Madison, 20, Kailey, 16, and Cade, 14. Craig enjoyed coaching, refereeing and umpiring youth sports in the Lompoc community. He also held a position on the Lompoc Parks and Recreation commission. Craig was a member of North Avenue Baptist Church alongside his family.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Darlene McNamee and sister Julie Taaffe. Craig is survived by his wife Lorna; children Madison, Kailey and Cade; brothers Steven (Loudrie) McNamee and David (Linda) McNamee; nieces and nephews Tom, Leslie, Casey, Derrell, Michael; and great nieces and nephews Samantha, Riley, Cayden and Malani.

A celebration of life will be held 5pm Saturday, September 23rd at Trinity Church of the Nazarene.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
