Cynthia McLain entered into eternal peace at the young age of 64.

When you ask anyone to describe Cynthia; the answer was always the same, "she was kind, she was a talker, she was generous to a fault, she loved to sing, she loved her dogs and cat, she was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, but most important to Cynthia was her love of God, her faith and the love she had for her husband Bob."

Bob and Cynthia were married 26 years and resided in Lompoc their entire marriage. Cynthia was proud of her old fashion ways and she considered it an honor to take care of the love of her life, her husband Bob. She didn't just make dinner, they dined together every evening. Cynthia also thought it was important to look her best. Every time she left the house, whether it was to going to work, shopping or visiting friends, Cynthia looked beautiful, she dressed amazingly and was very classy from head to toe.

Bob introduced Cynthia to the outdoors. Their greatest vacations were camping at lakes and local beaches. She took up hiking, boating, kayaking and fishing. She did not fish to catch and release; she knew how to make an excellent meal out of her catch.

It did not matter if Cynthia was going to work at Vandenberg AFB or for the City of Lompoc, she made an effort to bring joy in the workplace on a daily basis. She started and ended each day with a smile. She loved to feed her friends. Everyone knew her care was genuine. She loved her friends dearly and we all knew it.

Cynthia was born to Helen and Carroll Fink in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 5, 1953 and left this world November 8, 2017. She graduated Port Washington High School in 1971.

Cynthia will be forever missed and leaves behind her husband Bob, her father Carroll, her brother Mark Fink, her sisters Patti Capella and Janice Fink, her in laws Dale Capella, Mark and Diane McLain. She was also friends and Aunt to Michelle, Marie, Tanya, Marnie, Mandie, Elysha and Lynsey who will miss her dearly along with a long list of great nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother Helen and her brother Gary Fink.

Cynthia often said she was blessed with a wonderful life. She touched the lives of many with her smile, kindness and her generosity. She ended every evening with a prayer, asking for health, happiness and above all a life filled with love for her family and friends. In Cynthia's honor, please hug your partner and tell those in your life that you love them and her life will have been accomplished.
