A memorial service for Dale James Leistico of Hillsboro, Oregon and formerly of Lompoc, will be held Saturday, June 29 at 2 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church, 135 South E Street in Lompoc. Private burial at Lompoc Cemetery will precede the service.
Dale served in Range Safety at Vandenberg Air Force Base for twenty two years working innumerable missile launches. He was a member of the Lompoc Amateur Radio Club, the Satellite Radio Club and AERES for thirty three years. He was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church between 1979 and 2011, serving in many capacities. The Wednesday morning service was one of his favorite ministries.

Dale is survived by his wife, Agnes, his son Rev. James (Laura) Leistico, daughters Dr. Laurene (Michael) Hofman, and Susan Leistico. His grandchildren are Emma, Jonathan, Timothy, Erin, and Sofia Leistico. The family invites you to join them in light refreshments after the service.
