Pastor Dan W. Tullis
July 1929 – March 2009
Pastor Tullis was born to Willie and Kathleen Tullis in Headland, Alabama July 28th, 1929.
Retired TSgt, Pastor Tullis spent 20 years in the USAF. Moved to Lompoc, pastured Grace Temple MBC from 1981 to 2003.
Pastor Tullis was active in several communities along the Central Coast, from Oxnard to Paso Robles. Pastor Tullis wore many hats, from city activist to local youth coach. He was a great man with a big heart that will be remembered by all who crossed his path.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris, 7 children, 17 grand children, and 10 great grand children.
Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 925 N. F Street, Lompoc, at 1pm on Thursday, March 12, 2009.
