Dana Richard Fabing, Jr. of Lompoc died Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the age of 39.

Dana was born July 24, 1980 in Ventura, California to Dana and Diane Fabing.  He was raised and educated in Lompoc and graduated from Lompoc High School with the class of 1998.  While in high school Dana was on the track team and lettered in cross country.  A talented artist, he also attended Allan Hancock College where he wanted to learn computer animation.

Dana was employed for many years as a driver for The United Parcel Service.  He was most recently employed registering patients at Sansum Clinic.

Dana was active in the Lompoc community volunteering for local festivals.  He was a member of La Purisima Catholic Church.

Dana enjoyed outings with daughter Dallas, playing softball, barbeques with family and the Dallas Cowboys.  He loved Christmas, his music and dancing.

Dana was preceded in death by his grandfathers Richard Cortez Centeno and Everett Fabing, his uncle Kim Fabing, his aunt Ginger Fabing and cousin Brice Fabing.

He is survived by his daughter Dallas Fabing of Lompoc, his parents Dana and Diane Fabing, his sister Jessica Fabing of Lompoc and his nephew Audric Kawai of Lompoc.

He was loving and giving father, son, brother and uncle.  He had a big heart and loved spending quality time with his family.  His biggest blessing was raising his daughter Dallas.

The visitation will be Sunday, January 26, from 4-7pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 27, at 10am at La Purisima Catholic followed by burial in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery
