Dario Cruz passed away on Monday May 6, 2019 at the age of 80.  He was born on December 18, 1938 in Mexico,  He was a long time resident of Lompoc and worked at the Village Country club for over 35 years until his retirement in 2014.  He enjoyed hanging out with his grandchildren, watching his LA Angels play baseball but his greatest joy was going to Chicago and watching his granddaughter Grayson, graduate from Navy boot camp, he enjoyed  gardening which was a passion of his,  he will be fondly remembered by his family as " The Old Man" which he himself chuckled at being called. Dario is survived by his children, Regina Gomez, Nancy Solorio, Dario Cruz Jr., Dale DeLaMora, Sylvia Raybuck, and Gilbert DeLaMora. Dario is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  There will be a Rosary at the chapel at Starbuck-Lind on Thursday May 16, at 6:30 pm.  Burial will be private.
