Daryl K. Jones was called home on August 19, 2017. He was born August 25, 1958.

Daryl was preceded in death by his father Herbert C. Jones and his brother Michael L. Jones.
He is survived by his loving mother Barbara D. Jones of Lompoc, his devoted sisters and brother, Cheryl Jones Ramey of Sacramento, Timothy C. Jones of Seattle and Shawn E. Jones of Hesperia, his Aunt Bobby Jean of Oakland and numerous nieces and nephews.

Daryl was part of the graduating class of 1976 from Cabrillo High School. He was the Valedictorian and graduated with honors. He went to Allan Hancock College and then to UCLA in 1981. Daryl retired from AT&T and worked as a counselor for troubled teens. He later worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles and was currently employed by the Home Depot.
Daryl was an avid collector. His favorite collections of die cast airplanes and cars, movie and TV memorabilia were his passion. He also had an intense love of cars, sports and music.
Daryl had a loving heart and compassion for his family and others. His generous heart was sincere.

Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8pm Monday, August 28, 2017 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Vigil services will commence at 6pm that evening. Funeral Services will be 1pm Tuesday, August 29th at the mortuary with Rev. Lawrence Santos of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
