Deanne Faye McCoy-Montey-Glave, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, at the age of 87 in Lompoc, California.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Harold (Gene), Ida Mae, Marilyn (Sue), Jacque, and two husbands, George Bruce Montey Jr., and Roy Allen Glave.

Born in Hastings, Nebraska on November 21, 1937, to Harold Edgar and Alberta Eloise McCoy.  Deanne's early years were spent living in Goleta, raising kids, homemaking, and always looking forward to family gatherings and picnics at Tucker's Grove, Stow Park, and Goleta Beach.  Later in life she became very active at the "Elks Lodge" in Lompoc with husband Roy organizing many activities, but mostly the annual "Flower Festival" which she truly enjoyed.  Deanne tried to never miss her "Bingo" games and of course, any "slot machine" action at the Casino was always a favorite!

Deanne leaves behind her youngest sister, Terree DeRosa and three children, Debra (Gert) Schelvis, Melony (Mark) DeCoursey, and Gregory Montey.  She also leaves behind numerous grandkids, Aimee, Nicolaas, April, Jessica, Sean, Noah, Tristin and Justice.  Great-grandkids, Skyler, Bryce, Isaac, Korinna, Tucker, Nathan and Autumn.  Great-great-grandkids, Michael, Wade, Liam, and so many other family members and friends whom she loved.

Deanne will be heading home to Hastings, Nebraska after living in Lompoc for over 35 years.
