Della Faye Weldon of Lompoc Passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014, at the age of 92. The graveside funeral service will be held at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, October 10, at 10 am.

Della Faye Marsh-Weldon was born in Pritchett, Texas on August 25, 1922. She was married to Hurshell Dean Weldon on July 15, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and they lived in several different states, retiring in 1962. They moved to Los Angeles to go to work for Pepperdine University. During this time they moved to Camarillo in 1972 and lived there for 24 years, both retiring after 25 plus years at Pepperdine. In June of 1996 her husband passed away and she moved to Lompoc to live near her son Hurshell B. Weldon and his family. She has been a resident of Lompoc since that time.

Della Faye was a good Christian woman, wife and mother. She was loved by all who knew her.

Della Faye is survived by her three children, Hurshell B. Weldon of Lompoc, Gary D. Weldon of Monrovia and Barbara Kay Green of Santa Barbara. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
