Derek Douglas Dixon, 33, was born on July 7, 1986 in Lompoc, CA and passed away on June 11, 2020. Derek lived in Lompoc his entire life. Derek loved to BBQ with family and friends, and he loved music. He enjoyed going to the beach and fishing in the ocean.

Derek leaves behind his three children, Jade, Derek Jr and Johnny Dixon of Lompoc, his longtime companion and mother of his children Brianna Contreras, his mother Tina Grames, brothers Brett and Chris Wilhite. He is also survived by his father Darald Dixon, sisters, Katina, Danielle, Eirene Dixon, Ashliegh Brokken and brothers Brandon and James Dixon. Also, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandparents Douglas and Carolyn Grames, Aunt Debra Grames Merryman and paternal grandparents Roy Dixon and Wanda Dixon.
