IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dollie
Rivaldi
February 18, 1931 – December 23, 2021
Our mom Sylvia "Dollie" Rivaldi of Lompoc passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the age of 90. Dollie was born in Edna, California on February 18, 1931, to Joe and Mary Serpa. She was raised as a farmer's daughter and on May 7, 1950, she married the love of her life, Lawrence Rivaldi. Together they raised three daughters. Lawrence and Dollie along with his brother Henry and wife Olga formed Mission Bell Dairy where they raised their families. Dollie was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for family and friends and was also a very talented seamstress who enjoyed making clothes, especially for her children. She was very nurturing, adventurous, courageous and those who knew her would say, "a red-headed firecracker".
Dollie is survived by her 3 daughters Loretta (Steve) Johnson, Laurie (Lloyd) Florow, Linda (Dale Brose) Rivaldi, 4 grandchildren Jake and Ben Johnson, Erin Savoca, and Brandon Florow, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Lawrence. She loved her family and loved spending time with all her grandchildren. She shared wonderful stories that will be passed on for generations. She will be missed greatly.
