Donald Boisse was born on October 9, 1967 in Santa Ynez, California. Donald was raised in the Santa Ynez Valley. In 1970 his family moved to Lompoc. He was the son of Henry and Brenda Boisse. He passed away on June 26, 2013, after a long illness.
Donald loved to go to the movies, camping, fishing and cooking, taking long rides and to play practical jokes on any unsuspecting person. He loved his companion snowball (his cat) and he was also an avid Steelers fan. In his high school years, Donald was the equipment manager for the football team at Lompoc High School. He also worked as a security guard for many years. Donald loved his brother Ron and his sisters Annmarie, Linda and Brenda and all of his nieces and nephews. Donald was a great son, brother, uncle and friend.
Donald is survived by his sisters, Linda (Louie) Chavoya, Annmarie (Wes) Rowan; his brother Ronald Boisse and his brother in law Paul Wolfe. His nephews Joey (Carrie) Chavoya, Paco (Crystal) Chavoya, Kyven Rowan, Randy (Rebecca) Rowan, Alan Wolfe; nieces Bonny (Jeffery) Ellis, Amy Chavoya and Cassandra Rowan as well as three great nephews and six great nieces.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Brenda Boisse; his sister, Brenda Wolfe. Services for Donald will be held on July 19, 2013 at 1 pm at the Lompoc Valley Baptist Church, 700 East College Avenue with a short graveside service and a time of fellowship back at the church following graveside services.
