Obituary

Don Seay was born on January 14, 1943 in Fairlawn New Jeresy. but was raised in Buena Vista Virginia.

Don married the love of his life in 1961. They moved to Lompoc from Las Vegas in
1963.

Don worked at Johns Mansville for several years as a packer before going into the construction business were he became one of the best sheet rockers around. Don then went onto becoming a truck driver, working for several companies his last one being with Lawson's Rock and Oil.

Don loved life and lived it to the fullest. He had several hobbies. He was an excellent trap shooter. He loved to visit the Chumash casino. But his love was in racing, where he raced hobby stock cars and dirt cars at the Santa Maria Speedway. He became one of the best.

Don fought cancer very bravely for a year. He went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2015. Survivors include his wife of 33 years Gloria; his stepson Jason Penn and 3 beautiful grandchildren, which he adored, Stan "Pud" Penna, Chris Penna and Brad "little man" Penna. Also his companions, Bubba and LuLu who were always at his side. He is also survived by his three sisters, Dorothy Cash (Norman), Georgia Keen (Pat), Nina Loucks (Alden) and one brother Johnny (Linda) Seay . He is preceded in death by his parents George and Ruby Seay and a son Keith Anderson

Since Don knew no stranger he left behind many, many friends. Visitation will be Friday January 16 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Memorial Service following. Interment will be on Monday January 19 at 10 am at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetary
