Donna Lynn Alvarado
Donna Alvarado was born February 16, 1955 in Santa Barbara, California to Donald and Audrey Michaelson. She passed away on October 25, 2013 in Lompoc, California. She lived her whole life in Santa Barbara County.
Donna graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1973. She worked for Santa Barbara County for 15 years as a clerk-typist. Donna loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved to cook.
Donna is survived by her husband of 30 years Ruben Alvarado of Lompoc; sons, Anthony Anguiano, Ruben Alvarado and daughter, Veronica Orozco all of Santa Barbara; mother Audrey Michaelson, sister Janice McIntoch and brother, Paul Edward Michaelson all of Lompoc; grandson Johnny Lee Balaam of Lompoc and nephews Jacob McIntosh and Colin Michaelson of Lompoc.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 30 from 4-7 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Services will be held on Thursday October 31 at 11 am at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Cremation will be followed by burial in the Lompoc Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Donna's family suggests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1528 Chapala Street, Suite 204, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
