Obituary
Services for Donna A. Chavez, 39, of Lompoc, will be 12 noon Friday, August 13, 2010 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary with Pastor Darryl Fort of True Vine Ministries officiating. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Donna was born December 31, 1970 in Torrance, California to Vernon and Kathleen Coleman. She moved to Lompoc in 1987 from Southern California. After high school, she studied nursing in college. Donna loved to be with her family, and she coached softball for her daughters.
She died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at her home.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Jerry Chavez of Lompoc; daughters, Jessica Chavez, Aleigha Chavez and Raelena Chavez all of Lompoc; grandson, Michael Blow III of Lompoc; brothers, Richard Brown and Leighlan Brown both of San Diego; sisters, Kristy Estabrook of California and Lauralee Brown of San Diego, California.
Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
