Donna (Alberta) Dixon passed away peacefully on August 27,2025. Up until the end Donna maintained her kindness, grace, and appreciation of Nature, Love of Family and friends. She was most passionate of her love of her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. She expressed her gratitude for her long full life of wonderful times with her family and friends.

Donna spent her early years traveling the country as her father was in the Navy during WWII.  While Donna had close relationships with various friends, she was an only child.

While her father was stationed in Japan, Donna met her first husband, Tom Clancy. She knew she met the person to build a family with. After Tom retired from the Navy in 1960, they moved their young family to Lompoc, CA.  Together they raised five children.  Tom and Donna maintained a loving family for almost 20 years.

In 1969, Donna met and married Dick (Shirel) Dixon. Dick had two sons, Lee Dixon and Tim Dixon. Donna was delighted in the addition to her new growing family.  Together Donna and Dick welcomed the newest addition, Wayne Dixon.  Dick and Donna were married almost 25 years.

Donna Dixon was preceded in death:  Thomas Clancy, Dick (Shirel) Dixon, John (Jay) Clancy, Colleen (Clancy) Crisp and Wayne Dixon.  Donna is survived by her children: Joyce (Clancy) Schaper, Thomas Patrick Clancy, Erin (Clancy) Scott, Lee Andrew Dixon, and Timothy Paul Dixon.  Donna was a proud Grandmother to 19 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.  She was given the loving name 'Grandma Darlin'.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel, 123 North A Street. A reception will follow at Events Mission Valley, 138 North B Street. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery, 600 South C Street.
