Obituary

Donna Williams was born in Oxnard, CA in 1935, to Henry HL (Bud) and Mildred Mundell. She moved to Lompoc at age eight and quickly settled into being a Lompocian. A Lompoc Brave majorette in high school, she met the love of her life, Ronald Williams and married in 1954. While she spent her working life at her church and the Lompoc Unified School District, she was also a member of Beta Sigma Pi sorority, very active in the Elks Lodge, their antique car club, church activities, and various sewing and craft clubs which participated in many charitable activities.

Humble to her core, she had a special grace in the way she mixed wit with wisdom. Any conversation with her was fun and playful, but there was always something in there that kept you thinking about the conversation well after. Patience, love for her family and her faith keep her going through the challenges
of her life.

Traveling through the country with her beloved husband in their RV was a passion of Donna's. After Ronald passed, she spent as much time as possible at her favorite place on earth, Jalama Beach. She was joined there by family and friends, while making new friends in every conversation with fellow campers. Her favorite pastime, her solace, was listening to the waves on the coast and smelling the campfires while enjoying a good book.

With her passing, Donna has joined her father and mother Bud and Mildred Mundell, husband Ronald, daughter Stacy, sisters Barbara Cabral and Todd Hollister, as well as many close friends and family members.

She is remembered by her son Scott (Debbie), their children Tiffany (Mike), and Adam (Sheena), son in law Harold (Sandra), and their blended family of children, Rob (Maria), Kristen (Felipe), Korey (Adam), Lindsay and Tyler (Celeste). Donna is also a beloved great grandma, or "GG" to Owen, Emmett, Eleanor, Matthew, Cannon, Lyric and Lula.

Donna's family would like to thank the staff at Lompoc Skilled and Rehab, Lompoc Hospital, Santa Ynez Hospital, and Cottage Hospital for ensuring she was as comfortable as possible during her stays. Donna appreciated the loving care she received and mentioned it often.
