Obituary
Memorial services for Donovan (Shawn) Day, 37, of Santa Ynez and longtime Lompoc resident, will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 500 East North Ave., Lompoc. Private inurnment will be at a later date at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Shawn was born July 9, 1973 in Torrance, Calif. to Ronald and Debra Day. He moved to Lompoc at the age of two where he was raised and attended local schools. Shawn graduated from Lompoc High in 1991. He will be remembered for his charisma and exuberant love of life, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at his residence.
Survivors include his parents, Debby and Ron Day of Lompoc; brothers, Derrick Day of Santa Ynez and Ryan Day of Lompoc, grandmothers, Doris Combs and Mary Day; and nieces and a nephew.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawn Day Memorial Fund at Lompoc Community Bank, 705 West Central Ave., Lompoc 93436.
