Obituary
Doris Helen Bueker of Lompoc died Friday, December 23, 2016, at the age of 98.
Doris was born July 3, 1918, in Bakersfield, California to Frank and Elvezia Garzoli. After graduating from McFarland High School, she continued her education and graduated from Woodbury College in Burbank, California.
She married Frederick Bueker in 1943. As an Air Force family, they lived in many locations before being transferred to Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1970, where she worked as a civil servant with the Defense Mapping Agency.
Doris was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, the Military Officers Association of America, and the Village Country Club. She enjoyed travel, golf and gardening.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband in 1998. She is survived by her son Charles "Chuck" and his wife Virginia "Ginger" Bueker of Camarillo; her grandson Charles "Charlie" and his wife Shannon Bueker of Alabama; her granddaughter Elizabeth Bueker of San Francisco; and a great granddaughter McLain Bueker. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Frank, Elmer, Ernest and Arnold Garzoli.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Cayucos Morro Bay Cemetery. Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, Directors.
