Surrounded by her family, Doris earned her wings peacefully Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Vincent H. York in 1969, and Harold T. Couch in 2011, her daughter Sharon A. York and her ten siblings.

Doris is survived by her son, Edward (Carol) York, daughter Catherine (David) Pippins, as well as nine grandsons, 21 great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and a great granddaughter Brinley due in February to her grandson David "Bones" and Brittany Pippins, many nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved caregiver Mella.

She loved being around family, friends and grandchildren who will celebrate her life at a private reception.
