Doris Mae Hansen, age 77 of Lompoc California unexpectedly passed away on February 2, 2021, at SB Cottage Hospital.  She was born August 27, 1943, in Los Angeles California.

She is preceded in death by her father PFC Chester A. Edgell, Mother Hazel and stepfather John Knapp, Sister Joyce Carlson, brothers Gordon and Jeff Knapp.

Doris graduated from Santa Barbara Beauty College and retired as a sales clerk working in retail for over 30 years.  After retiring, she volunteered her services at the Lompoc Hospital Gift Shop.  She was a member of the Lompoc Hospital Women's Auxiliary, a member of the Santa Ynez Valley Elks Lodge, and a member of the Santa Ynez Valley Elks Ladies.

Doris loved spending time with her family and friends.  She loved to knit, sew, and jigsaw puzzles.

Doris is survived by her loving companion Robert Parson, daughter Marnette Ellenbrook, son Steven Ellenbrook, grandsons Justin, Cameron, and Roman Ellenbrook.  Sisters Sharon Lewis and Shirley (Jerry) Zick.  She also leaves a community of friends and family members who will sadly miss her.
