At her request, no services will be held for Doris L. Ridgeway, 84, of Lompoc.
Doris was born September 12, 1925 in Cherry Grove, West Virginia to Lewis and Martha Hoover Dice. She was raised and educated in West Virginia and resided in Lompoc since 1961. Doris was a lifelong homemaker and loving wife and mother who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She liked to dance and belonged to the Rocking Squares Dance Club of Lompoc in earlier years.
She passed away at her home in Lompoc on Thursday, June 24, 2010.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Paul Ridgeway of Lompoc; sons, Richard Byrd and wife Marsha of Santa Maria, Robert Byrd and wife Cindy of Orcutt; grandson, Michael Byrd and wife Christin of Lompoc; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Matthew, and Lukas.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
