Dorothy Ann Cooper went to be with the Lord February 7th, 2014 at the age of 86. She was a loving wife, amazing mother, kind and supportive grandmother and gracious friend. Dorothy and Ken were married for 63 years. They raised 3 daughters in La Crescenta, California. They retired and built a home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada where they enjoyed many years of playing golf and traveling. In 1996, they moved to Lompoc where they were members of the Village Country Club. Dorothy was a hospital volunteer, PEO sister and Deacon at the church. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a kind and gentle woman. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ann Zuelow and adoring husband Ken. She will be greatly missed by brother Dale (Norma Jean) Zuelow, daughter(s) Gail (Jack) Konrade, Jan (John) Greene, Beth (Jonathan) Dales and grandchildren Lindsey and Jarrod Greene. She will be missed by all, and remembered for her love and family and caring and positive attitude. Those fortunate to know Dorothy were truly blessed. Friends are invited to share in a celebration of Dorothy's life at 11:00 a.m , Friday, February 21st, 2014 at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 500 E. North Avenue, Lompoc. In lieu of flowers the family wishes to have donations made in Dorothy's honor to the Music Department, First Presbyterian Church of Lompoc, 1600 Berkeley Drive, Lompoc where she and Ken were members since 1997. We love and miss you mom, you were truly an inspiration to all.
