Dorothy "Dottie" Jean Spring, 76, beloved wife, mother and sister passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Dottie was born on September 10, 1935 in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia to Harry and Beulah Mowery. She married Paul Spring and they had 4 children. In 1962, the family moved to Lompoc.
Dottie worked for Thrifty's as a clerk for 20 years before retiring. She and Paul loved the beach, especially Jalama. After they both retired they moved to West Virginia, then to Hawaii and finally back to Lompoc.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul in 2010. She is survived by her siblings and sisters-in-law, Donald (Donna), Carol, Terry (Helen), Larry (Beulah Jean), Jack (Bev) and Steve (Doris); her children, Debra Murakami of Honolulu, Hawaii, Diane Spring of Lompoc, Rhonda Chambers of Orcutt and Randy Spring of Lompoc, grandchildren Jesse, Drew, Trevor and Amber; great-grandchildren, Max and Jonah Keawe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dottie lived for her family and made her kids who they are today. Mom, you will be greatly missed by all. We love you, Nana.
