Obituary
Dorothy Lucille Johnson, age 88 of Solvang, died peacefully New Year's morning. Grandma JJ, as she was called, always had a smile on her face. She loved family around and enjoyed cooking for them. Her greatest joy was being around all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lee and Sharon Frowiss of Solvang, daughter-in-law Clara Johnson of Goleta, granddaughters Kimberly Hopkins (Mark) of Ventura, Shannon Phipps (Tim) of Valencia, and Heather Neal (Bill) of Santa Barbara; nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Johnson in 1984, and son Richard Johnson in 2004.
A small family gathering will take place at a later date. Her wishes were to be cremated. Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
