Dorothy "Dee" Mae Price "Dee" Olinger went to her heavenly home on February 22, 2019. She is a native born in Lompoc to Neal and Daisy Olinger in 1929. She lived a full and active life filled with family and music. Anything from playing with her father's band, to being a music director at First Christian Church for several decades.

Her family, as well as her church family meant the most to her keeping her very active. She enjoyed camping, bike riding, rock hunting and traveling. She took her children and grandchildren and church youngsters from Surf park to Gaviota and Yosemite. One of her other pastimes was writing. It could be a poem for a special event or a play at the church called Hidden Unknown Talents. She loved writing for The Bugle at church her bi-line was Roving Reporter.

She volunteered at numerous events in Lompoc including Scouts, Mental Health Rape Crisis, Community Kitchen, and Christians Women's Fellowship. If there was a need, she was the first to volunteer.

She is survived by her husband Arnold F. Price Sr, Sons Arnold F. Jr. (Patty) Georgia, James T. (Catherine) Missouri, Daughter Sherrell K Foster (Kim) Missouri, Daughter in law, Cinda Price (Lompoc), like a son Armando Torres (Lompoc). 6 Grandchildren, Cara, Kristen, Kenneth, Eric, Kelly, Patrick and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Neal and Daisy Olinger, Son Robert and Granddaughter Robyn.

Services will be held at First Christian Church, 1517 West College Ave., Lompoc, CA, on March 14, 2019 at 1PM. In Lieu of flowers, make a donation to a charity of your choice.
