It is with great sadness that the family of Earl L. Jones announces his passing on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the age of 94 years. Earl passed away peacefully at his home in Lompoc, Ca where he lived for 58 years.

Earl was a machinist and retired after 20 years with Lockheed Missile and Space, Vandenberg AFB. During his tenure there he was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and served as an active member of the negotiating committee.

In July 1966 he was initiated into the Lompoc-Santa Ynez Masonic Lodge No. 262, attaining 32 ^nd degree Master Mason. In May 1986 he joined the Scottish Rite. In June 1986 he joined the Los Angeles, CA Al Malaikah Shriners.

Earl also served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946.

Earl will be lovingly remembered by his son, Earl D. Jones of Lompoc; his daughter, Roxanne Harris and her husband Peter of Washington; three grandchildren, Shawna M. Harris of Washington; Kenneth L. Harvey and his wife Melissa of Georgia; Matthew D. Harris and his wife Samantha of Michigan; and two great grandchildren, Alexa B. Harvey and Ashlyn L. Harvey.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Marjorie Errett Jones; his parents, Walter N. & Lillie M. Niswonger Jones; two brothers, Wilmer K. Jones and Walter H. Jones; and four sisters, Rosella Lynn, Gladys M. Oglevee, Helen G. Mulac and Arlene Wiedeman.
