Obituary
Earl Murray of Lompoc passed away, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the age of 76.
Earl was born July 1, 1935 in Gainesville, Florida to Alfonso and Georgia Murray. He later graduated from Greenville High School in Florida. He attended Southern Illinois University and earned a Master's degree in human resource management.
In his 30 years as a member of the United States Air Force Earl served in Texas, Germany and California. After his retirement from the military he worked in contractor supply and taught customer service training courses and business classes at Allan Hancock College.
Earl was a member of the Marshallia Ranch Golf Course.
Earl is survived by his wife of 56 years Carrie Murray of Lompoc, his daughters Cynthia Murray of Redlands, Phyllis Johnson of Texas, Deborah Murray of Lompoc and Desiree Gordon of Redlands, her son Earl Murray of Lompoc, three grandchildren and three sisters all of Florida.
The memorial service will be on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 3 pm at Trinity Church of the Nazarene. The private interment was in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
