Edna N. Railey, 87, of Lompoc died Wednesday March 7, 2007 at a local care center. Edna was born February 24, l920 to William and Susan (Stophel) Smithson. She was a resident of Lompoc for over 45 years.

Mrs. Railey was in sales for over 25 years with F. W. Woolworth, and attended the Baptist church.
A visitation will be Tuesday March 13, from 3 to 7 P.M. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A graveside service will be Wednesday, March 14, at 11 :00 A.M. at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Dean Monkemeier, Officiating.

Mrs. Railey is survived by one son, Raymond Railey, of Lompoc and a sister, Alice Morris of Dallas, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Railey, and 2 sons, William Charles who died in l950 and Daniel Lee Railey who died in l951.
