Ruth Eileen Johnson was born October 19, 1927 in Castlewood, South Dakota to William and Hazel Everhard. She died Thursday, January 7, 2016 in Lompoc at the age of 88.

Eileen graduated from Castlewood High School and later completed her education by attending Santa Monica City College. She worked as a Deputy Court Clerk for the County of Los Angeles for 33 years.

Formerly of Santa Monica Eileen became a resident of Lompoc in 1984. She was a member of the Sons of Norway and the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dale E. Johnson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Gale Banks of Bradbury, California, her son and daughter-in-law Alan and Mercedes Johnson of Henderson, Nevada, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In honor of her request no services will be held. Interment will be in the Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier
