Obituary
A memorial service for Eleanor Theresa Ortiz, 67, of Lompoc, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Church of Christ, 138 North O St. in Lompoc. A reception will follow at the church.
Eleanor was born December 15, 1941 in New York, New York. She was a proud member of the Church of Christ and proud of her Puerto Rican heritage. Her family and friends affectionately called her "Chunky".
She died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at her home.
Survivors (spouses) include daughters, Rosemary Bourdony (Jesse) Jimenez, Estella Lourdes Magdaleno (Mario, Jr.) Ruiz, Yolanda Iceland (Virgilio II) Cortez; son, Louis Anthony III (Deana) Bourdony; grandchildren, Zenaida Theresa Ochoa, Juan Candelario Rivera, Mario Ruiz III, Vincent Alexander Ruiz, Victoria Irene Ruiz, Virgilio Cortez III, Vincent Cortez, Ruben Cortez, Yolanda Love Cortez, Anthony Louis Bourdony, Natasha Bourdony, Jesse Jimenez, Lasonyia Marie Moreno, Louis Anthony Bourdony V, Joseph Fernando Bourdony, William Bourdony, her great grandchildren Andrew Joseph Kellems, Lania Nicole Day, Jayden Bourdony, Jasmine Nicole Bourdony; brothers, Sammy (Theresa) Ramos, Fred (Debbie) Ortiz, Eddie Ramos; sisters, Yolanda Brown, and Lydia Lopez Ortiz.
