Obituary

A memorial mass for Elizabeth Ann ("Betty or Liz") Bryant will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. John Fitzgerald at 10am. Inurnment will be private at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born January 15, 1922 in Springfield, Minnesota to Otto and Maude Lehrer. She was raised and educated in Springfield. On March 16, 1944 she married William Bryant and had three children. She moved to Lompoc with her family from Great Falls, Montana in 1961. She was a lifelong homemaker, an avid golfer and loved to travel.

She died Sunday, September 6, 2009 at her home.

Survivors include her daughters, Margaret E. Sirus of Lompoc and Mary Galvin of Paso Robles; brother, Otto Lehere of Owatonna, Minnesota; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband William, son, William M. Bryant, brother, John Leherer and sisters, Marilyn Abbett and Kathryn Gafford.

Donation in her name can be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary
