IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth Ann
(Morgan) Leeper
March 14, 1971 – May 21, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Morgan) Leeper. After a long battle with cancer, she passed away in her home on May 21, 2025. Being a wife and mother brought her much joy in her life. She is survived by her husband Michael Leeper and their three daughters: Haley, Amanda and Ashlee. She also leaves behind her brother Scott Morgan, sister-in-law Jessi (Carpio) Morgan, her nephews Ryan Morgan (Hannah) and Brady Morgan, as well as her niece Danielle Morgan.
Elizabeth was a strong, resilient, smart woman. She was born at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma on March 14, 1971, to Harold and Sandra Morgan. After the family moved to Lompoc in 1976 she attended Lompoc schools, graduating from Lompoc High School in 1989. She attended Allan Hancock College and then transferred to Fresno State University, from which she graduated in May of 1997. Elizabeth and Michael were married in 1998. After moving to Sacramento she began teaching special education students at Peter J. Shields Elementary School in the Folsom/Cordova School District. She taught there for 25+ years.
Elizabeth's life was cut short too early, but during her life she touched many people. "Miss Leeper" (as her students called her) was greatly admired by her students and staff and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. There will be a memorial service for her on July 26, 2025, at Maidu Community Center (Room 6), 1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville, California, from 2:30-5:30 pm.
