Obituary
Elizabeth Hope Schmidt, 76, of Lompoc was granted her Angel wings on October 31, 2014. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family.
Elizabeth was born on August 8, 1938, daughter of the late Almon and Marion Coburn.
She attended Allan Hancock College and earned an Associate Degree in Arts.
Elizabeth was very involved in her community working with the Lompoc Valley Flower Festival Association, Lompoc Valley Beautification Commission and the Robert R. Young Iris Society.
Her interests included her family, friends, genealogy, bowling, reading and enjoying life.
Elizabeth leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband, John of 29 years, daughters Dorothy Bunting and Donna Polton, sons David, Daniel and Darin Sarber, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 1 pm. The burial will be private at Lompoc Cemetery.
