Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" Stitch of Lompoc passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007, at the age of 87.
Betty was born December 17, 1919 to Ernest and Elizabeth Koepsell in Elgin, Minnesota. She was raised in Elgin and graduated from Elgin High School. A resident of Lompoc since 1966, she was a receptionist in the aerospace industry for 15 years and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Elvis Stitch in 1999. She is survived by her brother-in-law Wray Stitch of Lompoc.
The visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 135 South E Street in Lompoc followed by a reception and lunch in Timothy Hall. Pastor Jim Macereth will officiate.
