Obituary
Elven "B. B." Brown of Lompoc passed away Monday, September 3, 3012, at the age of 72.
B.B. was born March 14, 1940, in Marigold Mississippi to Joseph and Louise Brown. He came to California in 1959 to live with family members in Santa Barbara. He later moved to Lompoc in 1991.
B.B. was employed as an automobile detailer at various automobile dealerships in Santa Barbara. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Geraldine Brown, his brother Cleotha Brown of Santa Barbara, sister Lettie Jones and her husband Herless of Santa Barbara, his brother Lorenzo Brown of Santa Barbara, brother Joseph Willie Brown of Santa Barbara, sister Joyce C. Brown of Santa Cruz, sister Vera Brown of Oakland, brother Booker T. Brown and his wife Jackie of Mojave, his sister-in-law Uneitha Jones of Santa Barbara, brother-in-law Lindaray Lambert of Apple Valley, sister-in-law Levonia House of Arkansas, brother-in-law Raymond Lambert of Oceanside, sister-in-law Oma Hughes of Chicago, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Harris and his brother Dan Brown.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 1 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, 123 North A Street in Lompoc. Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
