Emma M. Escovedo, 86, of Lompoc, CA passed away on June 25, 2026, in Gilroy CA.

At the family’s request, Emma’s name will be mentioned at the daily 8am mass on August 7, 2026, at La Purisima Catholic Church. Graveside Service for Emma will be at 11am on August 7, 2026, at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.

A reception at 12pm will follow at the Events Mission Valley, 138 North B Street in Lompoc.

Emma Escovedo was born October 9th, 1939, in Lompoc, California to Michael and Sally Guevara. She was a lifelong resident of Lompoc until 2021 when she was moved to Gilroy Healthcare and Rehabilitation to be closer to her sons and family in the Bay Area. She graduated from Lompoc High School with the class of 1957. Emma worked at variety of jobs in Lompoc during her lifetime; Moore’s Dept Store, Fashion at the Inn, Walnut Plaza, Comcast and Walmart.

Emma was known in Lompoc as a kind hearted person that cared deeply for her family and friends. Survivors (spouses) include sons, Andrew (Darcy) Escovedo of Palo Alto, CA. and Ernest (Lilianne) of Windsor, CA; sister, Rosalie Aguiar of Tulare CA; brother, Raymond Navarro of Lompoc. Surviving grandchildren, Kyle, Brent, Cary, Nic and Camille Escovedo. Husband Charles Escovedo, Father Michael Guevara, Mother Sally Guevara and brother Richard Guevara preceded her in death.
