Vigil services for Enrique Morales, 58, of Lompoc will be held 7 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2008 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at La Purisima Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.

Enrique was born August 13, 1949 in La Piedad, Michuacan, Mexico to Pedro and Francisca Hernandez Morales. He has resided in the Lompoc since 1965, and worked for several years as a landscaper for Johns-Manville before his employment at the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort. He loved spending time with family and especially his grandchildren. His favorite pastimes included gardening, sports, and was known for being a very generous man by helping others.

He died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at his home surrounded by family.

Survivors (spouses) include his wife, Mary Morales; daughters, Mary Frances Morales and Linda Marie Terrones (Eric) of Lompoc; 10 sisters, three brothers, and grandchildren, Angel Morales, Enrique Morales, Amanda Terrones, Haley Terrones, and Nevaeh Terrones.

Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
