Ernestine Rhae Chamblee Voges 1962-2024

It is with great sadness that Ernestine Rhae Chamblee Voges was called home by the lord on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the age of 62.

Ernestine was born in Houston, Texas, and moved to California in 1981, where she lived the rest of her life. She attended Allen Hancock College and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Which she work worked for many years but later redirected her carrier and worked in customer service as a cashier.

In 1986 she married Clarence Michael Voges, from Lompoc, California. Where they settled and started their family.

She enjoyed spending time with family, taking road trips, playing horseshoes, and taking trips to the beach. She always incorporated music into the events. She was an extravagant collector, usually of vintage or antique items but also a vast variety of collectable elephants and porcelain dolls.

She showed an immense amount of kindness and love. She consistently extended a helping hand. Her genuine concern for the well-being of others made her a cherished presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her positive selfless acts of kindness left an enduring legacy forever illuminating the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

Ernestine is survived by her husband of 38 years, Clarence Michael Voges, her cherished daughters; Kimberly Marie Chamblee, Heather Nichole Voges (Giovanni Perez), and Tiffany Michelle Voges, her beloved grandchildren, Shylee Ann Barker, Diego Nicolas Perez, Arianna Nicole Perez, Christian Michael Voges, and Genevieve Amor Perez, sisters Mary Barnet (Frank Chantry) and Jackie Chamblee, niece and nephews Pamela Linsalato, Joshua Pappa, Frankie Chantry, Shannon, Carl and Kristina, as well as plenty of great nieces and nephews, all residing in Lompoc.

Ernestine is preceded in death by her parents Mary Aline Newman and Hayward Earl Chamblee and her nephew Marc Anthony Pappa.
