Eugenia Jane Shelton, 77, of Lompoc, passed away July 21, 2006. Eugenia was born July 8, 1929 to Eugene and Dorothy Williams McAllister and was raised and educated in Monrovia, California. She was a Girl Scout and pianist and earned her B.A. degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Formerly of Pasadena and Santa Barbara she came to Lompoc in 1964. She was self-employed as a caregiver and a member of the PEO. A very spiritual person, Eugenia attended the Presbyterian and Nazarene churches. She enjoyed classical music and was a lifelong learner.
Eugenia is survived by her daughters, Dori Statton of Brookings, Oregon and Jennifer Shull of Medicin Lodge, Kansas; sons, Jim Shelton of Middletown, Pennsylvania and Paul Shelton of Oakland; 11 grandchildren and 2 grandsons.
Cremation was followed by private inurnment in Oregon.
