Eva Thompson, 68, of Lompoc, California, was called home on April 16, 2026, and is now resting in peace.

Eva was truly the life of the party; full of light, laughter, and a presence you could never miss. She was generous, caring, and lived life to her own beat. She loved deeply, especially when it came to her family, and she was always there for her friends, whether you needed advice, comfort, or just someone to laugh with. Being around her made people feel welcomed, loved, and at home.

She is survived by her children, Billy Thompson, Johnny Thompson, and Marena Coward; her grandchildren, Zaynah, Billy, Zarna, Malia, and Shion; her brothers, Daniel Sechslingloff and Jorge Melena; and her aunt, Olga Beltran. She was preceded in death by her sister, Natalia Franco, and her mother, Gloria Franco.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at La Purisima Concepción Catholic Church in Lompoc, California, followed by a reception at 1:00 PM at the Lompoc Veterans Memorial Building Banquet Hall. (Please see announcement for full details.)
