Evelyn Lorraine Schuler was born on Dec 1st,1930 and passed peacefully August 9th 2026 at the age of 95 years in Lompoc California.

Evelyn was born in Lucerne, Colorado to Amalie and Jacob Wolfe. She was the 3rd of seven siblings. Edwin Wolfe, Jack Wolfe, Don Wolfe, Beverly Graffel, Judy Wilker and Chet Wolfe. She is survived by siblings Beverly and Judy.

Evelyn will always be remember as loving and devoted wife to Ernest J. Schuler (Oct 4th 1926 – Dec 12th, 2002). She and Ernie were married in 1965 in Cheyene Wyoming. That same year Ernie, USAF, was transferred to Vandenberg AFB, Ca. Ernie retired in 1968 and they moved to Vandenberg Village to begin retirement life. She retired in 1990 after 30 years dedicated service with the Federal Civil Service.

Evelyn was a loving and devoted mother to surviving sons Robert A. Snyder (6/23/1959) and Stanley R. Snyder (9/09/1950). She was exceptionally fond of Robert’s pet parrot “Bubba”.

Evelyn was a caring, affectionate and charitable to all her friends and to all the people she met. She will be deeply missed to all that knew her. May she rest in peace.

A memorial service will be held August 28th at 11:00 AM at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
