On Thursday, September 29th, 2022, the soul of Fae Everett Storms, loving wife, momma, grandmother, and great grandma, peacefully passed into heaven at the age of 91.
The ninth of ten children, she was born November 3rd, 1930, to Grover Cleveland and Claudia (Davis) Everett in Pineville, Kentucky. She met her sweetheart, Rick Storms while attending LSU, in the Baptist Student Union, where he was president, and she was secretary. They married in the LSU BSU chapel on January 20th, 1961. They welcomed their children Robert and Kathy while living in Louisville, Kentucky.
In the summer of 1967, they moved to Lompoc where she worked as a secretary in the Pupil Personnel Department of the Lompoc Unified School District and then Santa Barbara County Schools for more than 30 years. The family joined First Southern Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and ran the language ministry for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Storms, her parents, and her siblings. She is survived by her children, Robert (Kimberly) Storms and Kathy (Eric) Nelson, grandchildren Matthew (Ashley), David, Stephen (Shelly) Storms, and Cory Nelson, and great-grandchildren Jeshua, Juliana, Neriah, Tobias, Christopher, Aubrey, and Araceli.

A memorial service was held Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 5 pm at Grace Baptist Church, 1009 East Pine Avenue, Lompoc, CA.
